Canny the camera!

See, I told you I'm going to buy this Canon Power Shot SX410 IS (teehee!). As you can see that I really love capturing beautiful things. Well, I'm not saying that I'm a professional photographer. No, I'm soooo waaaaay far from that! But I just love to capture anything in my life. I just don't wanna miss a moment. A moment that maybe we cannot feel it anymore :)

I just bought this camera three days ago. So I haven't take any picture with it. I only tested and make sure this camera is really useful. And yes, I love the 40x optical zoom without having a blur. I love the super vivid effect which looks like pop art with bright colors and anything 80's. I love the fact that the video camera has HD format, and can make slow motion edit. And the important thing is, this camera is not that expensive. Well done!

Maybe I will use this camera on Friday, to capture Krishna and The Upstairs perform at Summarecon Mal Serpong, next week for my outing office and for my trip to Bandung 2 weeks more. Yay, cannot wait :)

Have you seen my childhood?

Yesterday, Krishna and I had lunch with his parents. Then suddenly, his dad tells stories about how they always spent some quality times when Krishna and his sisters are still younger. The point is, their childhood was happy and beautiful. After that, Krishna had been a little bit touches about the story, And he became sad, and suddenly missing all the childhood things.

Who doesn't?

And so am I..

I remembered about how my childhood was totally great and beautiful. Spent very well. I spent my childhood at Maryland, Washington D.C, USA. My family and I lived there for almost 5 years. We lived in 2th floor apartment. My baby sitter was Niger, and her name is Clothel. She has three daughters, Shawnteey. Curtisha and Breta. My siblings and I really like to play with them. My parents had worked at Voice Of America. And that was the moment when I think my parents are cool. Haha.

I really love the snow. I used to built this snowman. And I used to grab the ice and ate it. Funny me :)

When we lived there, almost every weekend we always went to cool places. We went to Disneyland, Virginia, Miami Beach, Hollywood Boulevard, and so on.

After we lived there, we went to Japan for 2 weeks, and stayed at my Dad's bestfriend. Then we came back to Indonesia. We grew up us a happy kids. We've been successfull and busy with our own life. Even my brother now stayed in London to have his study. *miss him btw*

Yeah, I think my childhood was one of the best moment in my entire life. I loved it. I missed it. And if only I could, I really want to turn back the time :)

Book talk : "Letters To A Young Poet"

So, from this moment on, I'm going to make a section about book review. It's called 'Book Talk'. And the first book I'd like to review is "Letters To A Young Poet" from an Austrian poet, Rainer Maria Rilke.. The first reason why I bought this book is because from 'Penguin Classics'. You know, some old book publisher that always printed books from William Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe and many more.

The book itself is about Rainer the writer, wrote some messages or letters to a young man. This young man is going to enter the military. And he also loves to write. He sent letters to Rainer to ask some questions and for guidance to his stories. So it's like, Rainer was his idol and he always wanted to know, did Rainer likes his stories and poems? Both of them did the correspondence for about five years. And all of Rainer letters, made the young man became a good person.

I really love how Rainer wrote his words. Very simple yet poetic. It makes me feel the way the young man felt.

"Try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live with them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now"

Teenage life

"Bringing back the memories,
about how teenage life was so amazing!"
-Ovi-

It's good when you know one of your favorite Indonesian movie have the sequel. I mean, c'mon guys, who doesn't know Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?, right?  Thanks to Mira Lesmana and Riri Riza, whom made the sequel for that movie.

Last night, I watched the movie with Krishna. And I felt very very nervous. I can imagine how this movie came back after 14 years. The first was on 2002. And I was still at college. More skinny and more younger. Believe it or not, when I saw one of the scene, that Cinta found the "Aku" poem book by Chairil Anwar, I felt really, hmm..I don't know, maybe touched! It brings back the memories. The first time when Cinta and Rangga felt love.

Thank God the sequel is also good. More beautiful I think. I still can feel the chemistry between two people feels love, missing each other and sad. And the more important thing is, the kissing scene was uncensored. Give some applause for that, hehe.

Overall, I feel so happy about the movie. And also Krishna. He thinks this is one of the best Indonesian movie, hihi.

Well, I believe that some things are not change at all. Eventhough the person is change. The ages runs out. The physical maybe is not attracted anymore. But the love will never change. The love is still in the right heart. Forever.

Yes, teenage life was so amazing.Life at the early age 20 was unbelievably beautiful. I am blessed that I had mine :)

Hello May!

Today's the second day on May. It means I will change my blog background again. So, this time, I picked this stars doodles for my background. And the reason is this :

Last week, there was a time when Krishna slept on my lap. And then I wrote a poem about it.

"Lay your sleeping head on me, my love.
Then starts your dream about catching the stars in the sky"

Then I realized there are so many goals that we'd like to reach. I realized how talented Krishna is. And he realized how talented I am. Him with his dreams. And me with mine. We will through the skies to touch and even grab the stars.

That's why, I implemented into this background blog. I have so many stars that I want to reach for my days. Beyond and grateful.

So, dear May. Let's make this things happen! Have a lovely month, then :)
