My reading showed me that I had to answer two crucial questions before I went any further. First, did I believe it was possible to make myself happier? After all, the "set-point" theory holds that a person's basic level of happiness doesn't fluctuate much, except briefly.

 

My conclusion : yes, it is possible!

Electric Youth!

You probably know that song, which was one of the most happening song on 1988 (I was around 7 y.o). Yes, Debbie Gibson is the singer. She's one of those babe whom really famous in that era. I was also a big fan of her. My ears got the thing for the songs Electric Youth, Lost In Your Eyes, No More Rhyme, We Could Be Together, Out Of The Blue, Only In My Dreams, and many more. 

About 2 days ago, I saw my friend on Path had been listened 'Only In My Dreams', so it makes me wanna write something about Debbie Gibson in my blog.

I remember when I was on that year, I forced my Mom to buy me the bowler hat like Debbie used to wore. But Mom did not allowed me, huhu..

"Out Of The Blue"

If you see in this video that Debbie is wearing that bowler hat, then probably Taylor Swift will smiling, because on her video '22', Taylor also wore the same hat.

"Electric Youth"

"Zappin in to yaa".. haha that's the opening lyric, which I think is cool. Because I don't know what the words means. This video is very awesome, because the choreographer was great! My brother also love this video, because there was a part when Debbie threw a paper ball then suddenly it changed into Michael Jordan picture!

"Lost In Your Eyes"

When you're in love, then you should listen to this song. I think the video is so sweet. It's like they were truly in loved! Fyi, the male model in this video was the same in the 'Foolish Beat' video clip.

"We Could Be Together"

One of my favorite song. I really love the lyric "If you said jump, I'll say how high? If you said run, I'll run and fly". I think it's about friendship song. In this video, you can see Debbie played guitar and also drums (eventhough it looks like acting).

"No More Rhyme"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this song is the soundtrack from the TV serial The Wonder Years. Because you can see the girl (I think the named is Winnie) played Cello in the opening. Actually this is my sister favorite video. 

Too bad I haven't heard any update news from Debbie Gibson. Because I think she's one of this talented girl who can sing but also play guitar, piano, drums and playing movie. I hope Debbie will have her concert in Jakarta, so maybe I can come and watch her. Yeah!

Pets

Someone says that if you loves to have pets, then you are a very generous and carrying person. Well yeah, I believe that. When I was around 6 years old, I have two little rabbits. I named them Kiki and Koko (typically name). Afterwards, my mom bought these colorful fishes for me and my brother (but I did not named them, haha). When you have pets, then you feel like you must love them and feed them very well. It's like their life is on your hand. You have to carry them very gently. Sometimes pets can also be your bestfriend. Dogs are Men bestfriends. Meanwhile I think cats are more cuter for Women. 

When I was in college year, I also had two fishes. I named them Fishy and Wishy. I put them in my room. So I can see them everytime I want to.

Now, I still have cats. I have seven cats. Yes, seven! 

Meanwhile, my husband also have five dogs. Haha!

Luckly my husband also loves pets, because if your man loves to have pets, then he must be a very carrying and romantic guy. Yeah, sure that :)

What is LOVE?

Love is a universal feeling. You can love someone or anything you want. Love has so many definitions. Love is something we cannot hide. I love my parents, I love my husband, I love my sister and brother, I love blogging, I love writing, and I even love chocolates! You cannot describe Love as a one thing. There are so many so many love in this world. 

I remember the first time I had fell in love with a boy when I was in junior high school. It was just a puppy love for sure. But now, when I met a guy who is became my husband, I feel different. The love that I'm feeling is deeper. It is growing everyday. And it always will!

The love that I feel for my parents is also growing everyday. I cannot change my love with anything. I will love them until the day I die. 

Love is wonderful and hilarious. Love is unconditional. We all always feel love in our days. Love is all around. Love is happiness!

This husband and wife from Phoenix, USA is truly a babe! I love to read their blog New Darlings almost everyday. Another new link that I like. I love how they posted their photos. They are just like a models. Christina, the wife, is also cute, pretty and love The Beatles. The husband, Robert is a romantic guy whom in a relationship with Christina for almost 10 years! (before they got married).

Fairy tales

When we all were kids, we used to read or had been told about fairy tales stories. With the opening words "Once upon a time.." and ended with the words "..and they lived happily ever after". The little girls used to loved Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and many. I once also used to loved Sleeping Beauty and The Ugly Duckling. 

Lately, I'm into Hans Christian Andersen. Once, my dad has the fairy tales book, and I think the book was so thick. Probably a thousand pages. I just bought the thin one, and I spent my time to read the book. The stories are almost about fairy tales for children, but the way he wrote the words, I think it's more like poems. It's very classic and literature. I love it!

What is happiness?

When you do or feel something you really love with no one push / ask you to do it. When you feel free to do or feel something without any guilt. When you say anything without afraid of something. When you feel that you always smile and laughing without shed any tears.

Favorite things

When you have things that you love the most lately, you will wear / use it almost everyday. I love something unique, cute and fun. And sometimes unbranded things. Because I'm not a person who likes to buy something expensive / branded just because people will think that I'm rich. Nope..not kind that person, sowwy :)

Everything can change in a blinks. One time you can be happy, and about 5 seconds suddenly you can be so mellow to the low.

But that's life. Full of loves, laughs, and also sadness and tears.

Saint

I'm not saying that I'm a Saint. That I'm a good people who is never made a mistakes. I'm not saying that I'm innocent. But at least I am NOT FAKE. I always tried to be myself no matter what. I'm trying to be a better person on every each days. I'm changing everyday, even every minutes. I'm a different person now. I'm an adult person now. I have so many responsibilities. And I don't want to dissapoint all the people that I love. I wanna do better always. I wanna be a good person always. I must confess that everytime I did not do my prayers, I'm feeling this emptiness inside. My soul is like messed up!  

I know that God knows. And I hope He will understands (yeah, I'm sure He is).

I think 1989 is the best album from Taylor Swift so far (the 2nd is Red). I like the way she sang in all of the songs. She has a different style in this album. It's more classy and 80's. The arrangement in the music, the beat and the lyrics, I think it's great!

The opening song in this album is one of my favorite. Welcome to New York! The music is so new wave. Everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of the 80's era. It reminds me of the era when Grifone wear was so popular (errr..anybody?).

I also loves Style, Blank Space, I Wish You Would and New Romantics.

Taylor says about her album : "I'm not that complicated. My complications come out in my songs. All you need to do to be my friend is like me.."

Am I robot?

Have you seen this movie already? I think this movie is great (luckly I saw it in 4D X, so I felt it like in a reality). This movie is about someone genius name Deon, whom created a robots that became a police in some city. The robots are smart because it can helps avoid criminal things. But in the end, robot can also be a "bad" person. And also, human can be controlled by robots. 

I just cannot imagine if this is true. I mean, robots can controlled us. Robots are smarter than us. They also have a feelings. They also can be sad, can be happy can be such a little baby. I was wondering, what if in the future, robots are true can controlled human? Or what if someone that you loved, changed into a robot? Isn't that strange?

But I think, lately, human sometimes are so hypocrite and toady. They can do something or anything (that maybe they don't like), just to get what they want. Just to get some mightiness or just to be someone that they aren't. Huh, speaking about politics here..

So guys, if you haven't seen the movie, then you better watch it. And see for yourself what if robots can controlled human. :)

Two days in Bandung

I spent my last Wednesday and Tuesday in Bandung. As we all know that Bandung is one of the place that has so many kind of foods. That's why my friends and I only went to some of a food markets and a little restaurants.

I'm going to tell you which foods that I thinks are great :

1. Chocolate Cake : This chocolate cake is moist and also light. The texture is soft just like a chiffon cake. The price is also cheap, you can buy it for only IDR 8,500. You can find this Chocolate Cake at "Yoghurt Cisangkuy", Jl. Cisangkuy No 66, Surapati-Bandung. Phone : 022-7273956.
2. Yoghurt Cisangkuy : The famous of Yoghurt Cisangkuy. My favorite is Strawberry Special Yoghurt. Because it's sweet also sour, and it has strawberry chopped on it. I've known this Yoghurt since I was at Senior High School. Still have a same taste but a different price. You can buy this Yoghurt for only IDR 17,000. 
3. Kue cubit Green Tea : Yes, this kue cubit is also happening in Bandung. The tastes is sweet and I can feel the Green Tea mixed with the crunchy Ovomaltine. You can find it also at Jl. Cisangkuy (in front of the "Yoghurt Cisangkuy" restaurant. And it cost IDR 10,000. Cheap!!
4. Kue cubit Black Forrest : I like the Green Tea better than this one. I think the Chocolate in this kue cubit is tasteless. I cannot feel the Black Forrest. Because all I can feel was the Oreo. I don't recommend this one!
5. Bao Dim-sum : There are soooo many cute bao / bakpao in this restaurant. If you come to Paris Van Java, then you should come into this Bao Dim-Sum. I like the milky cheese and also the chocolate. You can buy it for only IDR 23,000 (for three baos)
6. Nasi Goreng Corned : One of the best nasi goreng I've ever tasted! You can find this nasi goreng place at Jl. Dr. Setiabudi, in front of the STP Bandung. The taste is so great and a I can feel the corned beef melted into my mouth. The cost is only IDR 19, 000. Yummy!
7. Honeystars cereal : Well yeah, this cereal is an ordinary cereal that you can see in every supermarkets. But I don't know, I just love the sweet taste from this cereal. I ate it with just poured the milk not to much. So that way you can feel the sweetness!
8. Mie Goreng : The famous mie goreng at "Mangkok Ayam". You can find it at Setiabudi Plaza, Jl. Dr. Setiabudi, Cidadap, Bandung. The taste is sour, spicy and also sweet. I love the scrambled eggs that mixed with the noodle. The portion is also more than enough. You can buy it for only IDR 23,000.
9. Creme Brulee Coffee : You can also find this coffee at Setiabudi Plaza, at Food Gallery. I love how the Caramel tangled into the coffee. The caramel is sweet meanwhile the coffee is bitter. I sipped it carefuly, because it was so hot. But I love it! Especially the smell. You can buy it for only IDR 29,000

See, like I told you before that Bandung has so many so many great places to hang out with, good foods to enjoy it and also nice weather to feel it. Next time, I'm going to explore another places in there!

A small thing

No, this is not a Starbukcs commercial. But I was just wondering that maybe, if every human being in this world always say this "Good morning and have a nice day!" words, I'm sure this world can be a better place. Every big things always starts from a small things. Just remember, always say "Thank You" if someone helps you. Always say "Help" if you really need someones favor. And always say "Sorry" when you know you're the one who made a mistake. 

Those small things with a big meanings it can change the world. It can change your day. And the most important thing is, it can change yourself :)

• Sanguine : A person with a very positive attitude. Always cheerful and full of sunshine. They can make friends very easy because of their extrovert attitude.

• Choleric : People who has a temperamental feelings. Always full of anger emotional. They also a very strong and ambitious to reach something what they want.

When I read this article carefully at Wikipedia, I know for sure that I'm a Phlegmatic type. Because of what? Because I'm a very calm person who always adored peaceful. I don't like anything chaos. I don't like making troubles. I don't like anything bad. And sometimes, I also a very moody person. People with a Phlegmatic type sometimes really can be patient, caring and tolerant. Phlegmatic is associated with water.

Hello, March!

Oh boy, just cannot believe that I have abandoned my blog for almost a month. I was totally busy and don't have much time to post something. I don't know, but lately I just feel so tired and bored about my job. So when I come home, all I wanted is sleep! Yes, sleep! I really need a rest and some vacation. That's why I planned to go to Bandung with my friends on this Wednesday. Hooray!
