I think Calais Tea & Coffee is one of the coolest place to hang out with. This bubble tea drink has a very unique style, flavor and icon. The icon is mustache. Seems like a Charlie Chaplin's mustache. I like the way they served the cup, with a blank side on the back. You can write a quote or some words if you like.The price is also cheap. Only IDR 18.000 for Regular, and IDR 21.000 for Large. And it'll cost IDR 3.000 if you want to add one toping.

Got sick!

Yep, I just got sick from yesterday. Got fever and god damn flu! My throat sore, and my tongue is bitter. I don't like sick. I really don't. Hope I can feel better tomorrow.

I miss them so mucho!

Tanggal 12 Januari 2013 kemarin, teman-teman Jarwokan akhirnya berkumpul kembali. Meskipun tetap tidak lengkap, tapi setidaknya ini jauh lebih banyak yang bisa ikutan. Kalau dipikir-pikir, sudah cukup lama juga kita tidak bertemu dan berkumpul. Plus, ada tamu jauh juga nih dari Lombok. Faisal alias Mas Lay, juga ikutan ngumpul,hehe. Kita ngumpul di Pisa Cafe, Citos. Kenapa disana? Karena beberapa dari kita membawa anak-anak dan bayi. Jadi sok pasti harus yang non smoking area. 

Lumayan lama kita berkumpul. Dari jam 4 s/d 7 malam. Senang dan melepas kangen!

Baru disadari bahwa kita semua memang sudah berubah ya. Berubah dalam arti yang baik. Sudah semakin dewasa semua. Dan sudah berkeluarga. Namun yang penting adalah, pertemanan kita Insyaallah tidak akan pernah berubah. Amin :)

Perfect situation

Tanggal 8 Januari 2013 kemarin, saya dan Krishna menonton Weezer! Yep, Weezer. Band yang dimana banyak orang bilang merupakan band emo yang ditunggu-tunggu kedatangannya di Jakarta selama 18 tahun. Make sense sih, karena saya memang mulai mendengarkan lagu-lagu mereka sejak saya masih di bangku SMP. Jaman-jaman saya baru tau Greenday, Oasis, Radiohead, No Doubt, dll. Dari dulu lagu yang paling saya suka adalah El Scorcho dari album Pinkerton. Kemudian Say It Ain't So dan Buddy Holly dari album Blue.

Lagu-lagu mereka simple namun enak didengar. Dan dengan lirik yang simple pula pastinya. Contohnya lagu The Sweater Song.

Setelah saya tau bahwa Weezer akan ke Jakarta dari bulan Oktober, maka tiket pun langsung saya beli. Too bad, pada saat penukaran tiket yang harusnya H-1, berubah menjadi pada saat hari H. It's kinda complicated sih actually. Bayankan saja, orang-orang kantoran seperti saya kan tidak mungkin siang-siang bisa ikutan mengantri dengan ratusan orang lainnya untuk menukar tiker di venue. Otomatis saya baru bisa saat pulang kantor. Dan ternyata itupun, MasyaAllah ramainya aje gile! Menyebalkan sangat! Meskipun ngantrinya ditemani Krishna sambil dipeluk, dipijitin dan dielus-elus, tetap aja menyebalkan. Dan benar dugaan saya, jadi ketinggalan 2 lagu deh. Belum lagi ternyata venue sangat becek sisa hujan deras pas siangnya. Plus ada hiasan gerimis juga pas beberapa menit kita menonton. Namun itu tidak membuat saya patah semangat. Meskipun posisi menontonnya agak jauh dari panggung, saya dan Krishna sangat menikmati. Ditemani dengan angin malam yang sejuk. Dan koor dari penonton setiap kali Weezer bernyanyi.

Secara keseluruhan konser Weezer ini cukup maksimal. Setidaknya mengobati rasa kangen para fans yang memang sudah sangat menantikannya belasan tahun. Rivers Cuomo dan teman-teman berhasil menghibur ribuan penonton dengan seru! Berbecek-becekan dan gerimis bersama Weezer. It was a really Perfect Situation! :)

Happy New Yeah!

 

Yup, entering the year of 2013. It means another chapter and another wishes (or still the same wishes, but haven't came true yet). For example, I changed my blog theme. And I also will change a little bit here and a little bit there.

 

My New Year's Eve was great. I spent it with my family, and we stayed at Harris Hotel Suite, FX Sudirman. It's quite uncomplete, because I spent the end of 2012 without Krishna. He was at Eco Bar, Kemang, had performed with Neurotic band. I kinda sad, because I feel like we supposed to be together and spent it with laugh. But nevermind then.

 

20 minutes before entering 2013, me and my dad walked by Sudirman street just to see the fireworks at Universitas Atmajaya. We planed to go to Bunderan HI, but then we changed our mind. We exhausted and decided to go back to Hotel. I tried to called and BBM-ed Krishna and wanna say "Happy New Year", but unfortunately the signal was so bad. About 12.40 am, I decided to go back to the room. Then suddenly, Krisha BBM-ed me :

 

 

And I was like "Whatttttt??" Haha, suprised suprised! He came by with Chiara, Jimmy, Pandu, Arum and Dimust. I was soooo happy, and I hugged him tighted!! They went by for about an hour. But it really makes my heart happy. My New Year's Eve was a blast! I spent it with my family, boyfriend and friends. What more can I want?
